About Us
CREDIT HOURS was established in the Middle East & North Africa based in Cairo, Egypt in 2019 and in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2022 (under the commercial registration name "al-Niqat al-Mu'tamadah for Health Training" with the aim to provide Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development (CME/CPD) programs for healthcare professionals (HCPs) that would an impact on patients care.

CPD Activities are Relevant to HCPs Educational Need and Language
CREDIT HOURS provides an accurate description for its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities
Which are relevant to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) educational need and language. Our CPD Activities are planned and implemented in accordance with global medical education accreditation requirements, policies, and standards.
When the professional practice gap has been identified, our Planning Committee conduct a needs assessment to determine the underlying educational needs of target audience that contribute to the gap. Our Planning Committee evaluate what target audience don't know (knowledge deficit), don't know how to do (skill deficit), or are not able to do in practice (practice deficit). This process determining the educational needs and targeting the educational activity appropriately to address the gap.
CPD Activities Have a Positive Impact on HCPs and/or Patient Outcomes.
Our purpose
The purpose of our CPD activities is to provide current and credible information to support HCPs in more evidence-based decision making, which can have an impact on patient care.
Continuing professional development (CPD) in healthcare is fundamental for enabling practitioners to acquire and apply skills relevant for sustaining person-centered, safe and effective care. This entails practitioners engaging in regular skills renewal to match changes in healthcare needs and their complexity, new models of delivering care and public expectations. Knowledge transfer and CPD are put forward as a way of forming better strategies to enhance the application of evidence in practice and ultimately improving health outcomes for patients.
It is Our Responsibility to Ensure That Content is Based on the Most Current Evidence
Our medical content areas
The content areas of our CPD activities deal with advances in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases in different therapeutic areas from pain, communicable & non-communicable diseases up to mental health.
Content for the educational activity may be chosen by the Planning Committee, or it may be selected by others participating in the educational activity, such as individual speakers or authors. It is the responsibility of the Planning Committee to ensure that content is based on the most current evidence, which may include but is not limited to evidence based practice, literature/peer-reviewed journals, clinical guidelines, best practices, and content expert's opinion. If there is concern that content selected is not based on best available evidence or may be biased within the educational activity, the Planning Committee may choose to engage a content reviewer.
Target Audience is Specific HCPs The Educational Activity is Intended to Impact.
Our target audience
Our target audience includes, but is not limited to physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other health care professionals who are involved with pain, communicable & non-communicable diseases, and mental health.
Once the educational need has been identified, the Planning Committee can determine the target audience for the educational activity. The target audience is defined as the specific healthcare learners or health care team members the educational activity is intended to impact.
We Use Strategies That Best Engage the Learner
Types of our cpd activities
We provide "courses" where the learner participates in person, "Internet live course" available at a certain time on a certain date and is only available in real-time, and "E-Learning Activities" recorded, or computer-presented interactive activity that endures over a specified time on our learning management system and does not have a specific time rather the participant determines whether and when to complete the activity during accreditation period.
Three primary types of educational activities may be delivered live or via an enduring format: 1. Provider-directed, provider-paced 2. Provider-directed, learner-paced 3. Learner-directed, learner-paced
Expected result
Our CPD activities foster the CPD of all participants among HCPs through activities that result in advancing their medical knowledge which will increase their competence and enhance their performance, and in turn improve patient care and professional practice.
